Our egg laying flock has been designed to produce a rainbow of colors. Every carton of eggs will have dark brown, tan, blue, mint green, olive green, speckled and even an occasional purple egg.
Yes, I said it, purple! The purple color is caused by a heavy bloom on a dark brown egg.
Super cool!

The hens are Marans, Easter Eggers, Gold Laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpington, Sapphire Gem & Starlight.
